Why I'm Waiting: Just take a minute and look at that cover. Take a gander. I feel like a good 80% of why I want to read that book is because I think that that cover looks awesome. Yup, I admit it. The description sounds good to though. A future world with a wilderness full of outcasts called Peculiars, and she herself might be one.. Sounds good to me! The only thing that I'm worried about here is the "steampunk" part of it. Have never been a big fan of the genre. But the description says for fans not only of steampunk, but of fantasy and romance as well. Those are kind of my big thing, if you didn't know.

Some lucky reviewers have already read this book as an ARC and have written up their reviews. There are both reviews that rave about The Peculiars and reviews that hate it. I guess we'll have to find out May 1st.  Until then, I'll have to be satisfied with gazing at the cover.
