I have 50 followers! To thank you all kindly for following me, I decided to have a giveaway. The prize? Any book of your choice from The Book Depository that is worth $10 or less. Only $10?!, you say? Sorry, I'm just a poor highschool girl living off of my meager allowance. And besides, $10 can get you some seriously amazing books.

Here are just a few examples of great books that are $10 or less that you could pick if you win:
Divergent, Goddess Interrupted, Demon Princess: Reign or Shine, Under the Never Sky

$10 not looking so bad now, eh? And remember, you don't have to pick one of these books, they're just some lovely examples. All you have to do to enter is add entries into the Rafflecopter below. Here's some guidelines about the giveaway.

>This giveaway is open internationally since the wonderful Book Depository ships to all of these places for free. Make sure your country is listed. I'm betting it will be unless you live on an undiscovered island or have stumbled into a wormhole and are no longer with us here on Earth.

>The PRIZE: Like I said earlier, is ANY book of your choice from
The Book Depository that is worth $10 or less.

>I'm requiring that you are a follower of this blog to enter, by making it manditory to complete on the Rafflecopter before you can see the other ways to get entires. I do this because this giveaway is to thank my followers.

>I reserve the right to disqulify anyone who makes entires in things that they haven't completed the task for. i.e. Participating at all in this giveaway without following me. I will check them.

>This giveaway is open from April 7th until April 28th! Then the winner will be chosen, who I will contact immidiately. If they don't reply within 48 hours, then a new winner will be chosen.

Isn't that such a great book? And $10 can really get you far. At first I was like, "Will this be enough?" but I looked and there are so many great books out there that don't cost too much.

Thanks for following Celine, and I'm glad that you like it! I'm still getting the hang of things. :) And I also followed your blog, so cute.

Meg said...

Oh, and I think I'd either get Revived by Cat Patrick or Under the Never Sky. :B

Linny @ Linnys Literature said...

Thanks and your welcome, Meg! And thank you about my blog, sometimes I wonder if I went overboard with the design, haha. And I haven't heard of Revived before, I'll have to check it out, but I read Under the Never Sky and really enjoyed it. Anyway, thanks for following! I checked out your blog and followed you back. Very nice layout you have there.

Awww, thanks (: If you have any questions about blogging, don't be afraid to ask. I've been blogging for about 2 years now, I'm almost considering myself a veteran, hehe.

$10 is actually the most common prize in blogger giveaways, so don't worry about it!

Linny @ Linnys Literature said...

Wow, 2 years? Very nice! I will definitely have some questions for you if that's alright. Now I'll just have to think of what I want to ask first, haha!

Hi Linny~! *waves*
What a lovely blog you have here! And I just adore your header - is that you?! What a great and unique idea haha, and the "mmm books" just cracks me up every time I look at it! :) Congrats on 50+ followers, here's to plenty more! I'll definitely be stopping by regularly.

As for the prize, $10 is plenty! there are just so many amazing books out there that you can for this much, it's kind of crazy! If I'd be lucky enough to win I would probably ask for the paperback of Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon, or Goddess Interrupted, or some nice contemporary novel for my Contemporary month (coming up in June).

Hope you'll visit my blog sometimes, too! Let's chat :)

Evie @Bookish

Linny @ Linnys Literature said...

Hello Evie! Yup, that's me and I'm glad you like it! Thank you so much. And I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to win! ;)

I checked out your blog and followed, it's gorgeous! I hope that someday my blog can be that nice. And that slideshow on the main page is so cool! If you looked at my home page you can see I tried to do something simular the other day, but it didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. How did you get yours? I used a site called HTML Basix to generate the code for me but I can't requlate how fast it goes or how to turn the pages manually. I would really appreciate any tips that you are willing to spare!

And I will definitely be visiting your blog regularly. Can't wait to chat! :)

Evie said...

Hi again, Linny!

The slider thingy is such a headache-y thing! I had to set it up manually, planning in html code. I could send you an email explaining in detail what needs to be changed/added if you want. it really isn't all that complicated if you get past the first "what the hell am I supposed to do with all the code" awkward moment :) Will you DM on twitter with your email? Also, I don't know how to change the speed and the buttons are going to be orange, unless you'll redesign them yourself and then upload them somewhere like FLICR, is that OK? :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I saw you comment and you totally made my day! :) <3 Hugs!

Melisa said...

I would like The Screwtape letters from C.S. Lewis.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway, I hope I win! :)

Linny @ Linnys Literature said...

It's really a great book Kristin. And your welcome! :)

Linny @ Linnys Literature said...

It really is a headache, and that would be so awesome Evie! I only resently got a twitter and I followed you, but I honestly don't know what a DM is.. so embarassing. So I went on your blog and sent you an email with your email button if that's alright. I titled it "Slider thingy", haha. And that'll be more than okay! I'm sure I can figure out how to redesign it if I stare at it long enough.

And I'm glad you liked my comment, I liked the post! I'd take Same under my Christmas tree anyday, haha! Thanks for all the help Evie, you are beyond awesome. And officially one of my newest blog buddies! ;)
