Why I'm Waiting: A dystopian world run by vampires? I can't help but think of The Immortal Rules, which I loved. And The Hunt has its own fun twists as well. A male main character for one thing, something not very common in our beloved YA genre. And while he's pretending to be a vampire, he is chosen to help in the hunt for the remaining humans. It's like a delicious mix of The Hunger Games and The Immortal Rules or something!

Not only does The Hunt sound good, but it has high ratings on GoodReads as well - an average 3.95 to be exact. A Cupcake and a Latte says "Incredible action, skin-crawling suspense, and heart racing romance is what readers will find in Andrew Fukuda's The Hunt!" Check, check, and check! This book meets all of the requirements to be one of my favorite books. Now we just have to wait until May 8th..
