(Including the bit about being freaked out by Jules & Elliot and not wanting to turn the lights off! haha) And that's true about the relationship between Nora and Patch, there really wasn't a whole lot of depth there. There was quite a few things about this one that bothered me, but I still think it was pretty good. :)

Good luck on the 2nd book! Again, this could just be me, but Nora got even more on my nerves in that one.. After I reread Hush Hush and wrote this review, I went to reread Cresendo and I only got like 20 pages in and stopped haha. It's still sitting with the bookmark in it on my bookcase. I really should tackle it sometime though so I can read Silence!

Anyway, thanks for telling me your thoughts, can't wait to read your review! :)Linnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02424238289531677554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361100901479824774.post-44456569290330066082012-04-17T15:43:36.025-04:002012-04-17T15:43:36.025-04:00Okay, I read it. I can see where you felt like Nora didn't have a backbone, especially when it came to some of her decisions (and interactions with Patch.)

Jules freaked me out, as did Elliot. I didn't want to sleep with the light off over the weekend because I felt as though he would be in my room lol.

Patch was a little tiring at times with his constant witty comments about coming on to Nora. I felt that if the writer had taken away those moments that we'd be left with nothing between them.

Anyways, there are my thoughts. I'm currently on the second book but I'm just a couple chapters in since I'm overwhelmed with school!

:)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840607219439442015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361100901479824774.post-59141664757610025392012-04-14T19:21:10.954-04:002012-04-14T19:21:10.954-04:00Well, I think you should probably still give it a ...Well, I think you should probably still give it a go. A lot of people really loved this one, so maybe you will too.

In my own personal opinion though, it was often embarassing to read with all the annoying things Nora did and, prehaps more accurately, didn't do.

If you do read it, I'll want to hear your thoughts on it! Thanks for reading my review. :)Linnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02424238289531677554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6361100901479824774.post-3933767330682466542012-04-14T15:24:49.618-04:002012-04-14T15:24:49.618-04:00I just borrowed this book from a friend and after ...I just borrowed this book from a friend and after reading your review, I may have to give it back. I love a heroine that has a back bone, and if Nora doesn't have one then this book may be a "no" for me.

Hmm, I guess I'll have to stew on it! lol
Thanks for the review!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840607219439442015noreply@blogger.com
